proposed by NRC in a letter dated June 8, 1993.
This letter also refers to a telephone conversation between yourself and Ms. Sharon Wagner of the NRC Region III staff on i
Tuly 26, 1993.
During this conversation, you confirmed that (1) all gauging devices have been color coded 5 ith tape to assist workers in distinguishing between x-ray gauger and those gauges containing radioactive materials, and (2) pertodic inspections'of gauges containing radioactive materials will be performed to ensure that radiation signs, required labelir g, and indicator lamps are maintained.
During a telephone cor versation on July 29, 1993 with Ms. Wagner, you verified that only persons holding a specific license from NRC or an Agreement State will i
I remove or install gauges containing radioactive materials.
i We have reviewed your corrective actions, which appear to be i
adequate, and have no further questions at this time.
