PRELIMINARY DRAFT BOILING WATER REACTOR STANDARD TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR LOW POWER AND SHUTDOWN CONDITIONS As discussed during our management meeting on June 10, 1993, enclosed are preliminary draft copies of the low power and shutdown (LPS) technical specifications proposed for the BWR current designs. They are based on the BWR-6 and BWR-4 improved Standard Technical Specifications (STS) but are provided to assist General Electric to develop LPS technical specifications for the ABWR design.
A copy of this letter and its enclosure is being placed in the public document room so that it is available to all interested parties.
Electronic copies of the enclosed draft STS can be obtained from the Technical Specifications Branch's electronic bulletin board. The data phone number is (301) 504-1778.
