Lic.nse Change Application (LCA)'232, Supplement 2 -
k location of Radiological Effluent Technical Snecifications (RETS) in Accordance with Generic Letter 89-01 4
By letters dated April 1, and June 9,1993, Portland General Electric Company (PGE) submitted LCA 232 and LCA 232, Supplement 1 which proposed to remove the RETS from the Trojan Technical Specifications and relocate them to the offsite Dose Calculation Manual and Process Control Program.
3 In conjunction with relocating the RETS. LCA 232 also proposed changing the required frequency for submittal of the Radioactive Effluent Release Report from semiannually to annually.
This is consistent with an amendment.to the requirements of Title 10 to the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 50.36a.
(10 CFR 50.36a) made in 1992 (57 FR 39353, August 31, 1992).
The NRC Project Manager for Trojan has -informed PGE that in addition to-

changing the required frequency for submittal from semiannually to annually,:
l it is acceptable to revise the submission date for.the Radioactive Effluent Release Report to " prior to May 1 of each year " ' The. Troj an Technical
~i Specifications currently require submittal of the Radioactive Effluent Release Report within 60 days of January 1 and. July 1 of each year. Die purposef of this supplement to ICA 232-is to request this change to the required submittal' date.

. is a copy of the affected Technical Specification page which includes this proposed change and incorporates the= changes proposed in PGE's original submittal cf LCA 232. PGE has reviewed this. change with.
4 respect to the No Significant Hazards Consideration Determination.and Environmental' Impact Determination.of LCA 232, and found that this change does not alter our previous: conclusions.
