SUBJECT:
URANIUM RECOVERY POLICY AND GUIDANCE DIRECTIVE SYSTEM Enclosed is your copy of the Policy and Guidance Directive System for the Uranium Recovery Program which has been under development for the past year.
The guidance available in the System should be used in your work as a handy reference.
Enjoy.
You are all responsible for some of the individual Directives.
This responsibility includes being familiar with any changes in the technical or policy areas covered by the Directive, and ensuring that it is reviewed and updated if needed on or before the date indicated in the Directive.
In addition to the periodic review, the Directive should be compared to the other guidance to determine if additional information on the subject is available in the System and not referenced in the Directive.
It would be helpful if each Directive references any other guidance that is complimentary, or which provides additional information on the subject.
This reference would be in addition to the Subject index which provides identification of guidance for the listed subjects.
I want to take this opportunity to thank each of you for your efforts in this task. The successful realization of the Directive System is a direct consequence of those efforts.
Your proposed revisions, questions, or comments should be directed to Allan Mullins who is the responsible staff person for maintaining the system.
