The Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (license R-84, docket 50-170) j has completed changes to its reactor facility physical security plan without prior Commission approval as authorized by 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2).

The changes made do not decrease the effectiveness of the plan and are detailed in the attached memorandum (Attachment 1). The new plan has been approved by the AFRRI Reactor and Radiation Facility Safety Committee and is submitted at Attachment 2.
