Thank you for the timely transmittal of the draft EPRI report entitled,
" Application of PRA for the Development of the MOV Test Program Prescribed by Generic Letter 89-10."
As you know, the topic of testing motor-operated valves (MOVs) to comply with Generic Letter (GL) 89-10 is an important area of interest to the NRC. The report will be useful for NRC background and reference as we continue our research activities related to GL 89-10.
During our review of the draft EPRI report, comments that we believe may be pertinent to the development of an MOV test program will be documented and subsequently forwarded for censideration.
