Air and noise regulations affecting LES on a local level Date: February 3, 1993 On February 3,
1993, Mr. Hillis called a Mr. James Gamilla (Sanitarian) of the Clairborne Parish Health Department.
He was not available and a message was left for him asking about regulations governing air pollution and noise ordinances.
That afternoon Mr.
Gamilla returned the call and after receiving an explanation of what information was desired stated that the Parish does not regulate any air emissions.
The state handles all air pollution problems.
The county currently does not have any poise ordinances in effect ana nono are anticipated.
