A steel encased, lead shielded cask for low specific activity material.
j The cask is a right circular cylinder 82.5 inches high by 81.5 inches in y
diameter.
The cask cavity is 74.5 inches high by 75.63 inches in 1
diameter.
The cask side wall consists of a 3/8-inch thick inner steel z'n 4
shell, a 1-3/4-inch lead shell, and a 7/8-inch thick outer steel shell.

Tha base is a 4-inch thick steel plate which is welded to the inner and

APPROVAL RECORD Model No. HN-190-1 Certificate of Compliance No. 9086 Revision No. 15 By application dated May 18, 1993, as supplemented on June 23, 1993, Scientific Ecology Group, Inc., requested renewal of Certificate of Compliance No. 9086.
In support of the requested renewal, a consolidated application was submitted which incorporates the application dated February 26, 1988 and supplements referenced in Revision 14 of the certificate. No changes to the package design and contents were requested.
The certificate has been revised to show that Scientific Ecology Group, Inc.,'is now the certificate holder, due to a change in company ownership. However, all packagings shculd still be constructed in accordance. with Hittman Nuclear &
Development Corporation Drawings specified in section 5.(a)(3) of the certificate.
The Certificate of Compl'iance has been renewed for a five year term which expires July 31, 1998.
