Nuclear Regulatory Commission transmitting additional information on a revision to the Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Plant Quality Assurance Program for Station Operation We received your submittal, referenced above, transmitting additional information on a revision to the Quality Assurance Program for Station Operation at Fort Calhoun submitted to the NRC on December 11, 1992.
Based on Region IV staff review of this Quality Assurance Program submittal, an apparent reduction in comitment from the program description previously accepted by the NRC exists. Changes to the Quality Assurance Program that reduce comitments must be submitted to the NRC and receive NRC approval prior to implementation in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54.
Based en our current review schedule, we anticipate that it will require more than 60 days to complete our review.
Upon completion of our review of your Quality Assurance Program, you will be notified of the results.
