WITHDRAWAL OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT FOR SOUTH TEXAS PROJECT, UNITS 1 AND 2 (TAC NOS. M84740 AND M84741)

By letter dated October 12,1992 (ST-HL-AE-4211), you applied for an amendment to the South Texas Project, Units 1 and 2 Operating License Nos. NPF-76 and-NPF-80.

The proposed changes would have added wording to Section 15.6 of the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report to reallocate inherent margin in the large break LOCA emergency core cooling system analysis.

Subsequently, by letter dated July 1, 1993, you withdrew the amendment request.
