Limerick Generating Station, Units 1 and 2 1993 Annual Emergency Exercise Objectives Gentlemen:
This letter provides the description, scope, and objectives for the Limerick Generating Station (LGS), Units 1 and 2,1993 Annual Emergency Exercise.
The exercise is scheduled for Wednesday, September 29, 1993.
This emergency exercise is a biennial full-participation exercise and therefore, will involve the participation of offsite emergency response agencies.
This information is being submitted 90 days prior to the scheduled exercise date in accordance with the guidance provided in an NRC letter dated August 9, 1989, regarding the submittal of " Emergency Exercise Objectives and Scenario Guidelines."
The description, scope, and objectives information attached to this letter is only being sent to those individuals specified as recipients in the August 9, 1989 letter, and is not for public disclosure.
However, as a result of a telephone conversation between Philadelphia Electric Company and NRC Region I representatives on September 22, 1992, this information need not be distributed to J. Jamison as directed in the August 9,1989 letter.
Mr. Richard Z. Kinard, Manager, Emergency Preparedness Section has been designated as your interface for this emergency exercise.
