Dear Mr. Gipson:
This confirms the plans discussed between Mr. W. Miller of your staff and Mr. M. Phillips of this office to hold a management meeting beginning at 10 a.m. (CDT) on July 27, 1993, at the NRC's Region III office in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss topics related to the performance of the licensee's quality Assurance Department.
While this meeting is considered a presentation and discussion forum between the Detroit Edison Company and the NRC, the meeting will be opened to any other interested parties as observers.
Those persons outside the licensee and NRC staffs should inform the NRC Regional office of their intent to participate.
