Enclosed is Revision 18 to Issue 4 of the Beaver Valley Power Station Physical Security Plan (PSP).
Revision 18 changes include:
1.
Clarification on the number and type of alarm system (s) used at our perimeter Zone 8 in support _of 10 CFR-73.55 (c) _(4) requirements.
2.
A newly developed and approved Weapons (firearm) Training and Qualification program based on semiautomatic weapons as opposed to the previous revolver-only program.
The program is set to be implemented officially on August 8, 1993^.
These changes have been reviewed and judged not to-constitute a degradation to the previous commitments in the PSP.
These
- changes, since.they do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the Physical Security Plan, are being submitted-'in accordance with 10 CFR 50. 54 (p) (2).
The enclosed materials are considered proprietary under the provision of 10 CFR 2.790(d), and Safeguards Information under the provisions of 10 CFR 73.21, and are thereby exempt from public disclosure.
