NRC ENFORCEMENT CONFERENCE REPORT NO. 50-341/93014(DRP)
This refers to an Enforcement Conference conducted by Mr. John B. Martin and
other members of the Region Ill staff on July 1, 1993, of activities at your
Fermi 2 facility and to the discussion of our findings with you and those
members of your staff identified in the enclosed report.
You will be natified by separate correspondence of our decision regarding
enforcement action based on the information presented ar.d discussed at the
Enforcement Conference.
As discussed at the conference, a concern was identified with the numerous
breakdowns in the modifications process associated with the engineering design
package (EDP) covering installation of the transmitters and recorders for the
wide range drywell pressure channels.
The resulting apparent violation
concerned ?.he fact that both divisions of the Post Accident Monitoring for
wide range drywell pressure were technically ir: 'rable at the same time for
longer than 48 hours5.555556e-4 days <br />0.0133 hours <br />7.936508e-5 weeks <br />1.8264e-5 months <br /> as a result of multiple t-
lowns in the modification
and installation process for the associated erg
ering design package.
