SUMMARY
- WESTINGHOUSE BEST ESTIMATE LBLOCA ANALYSIS METHODOLOGY, APRIL 1, 1993 On April 1, 1993, a meeting was held at NRC headquarters in Rockville, Maryland between representatives of Reactor Systems Branch and its contractor, INEL, and the Westinghouse Electric Corporation (W) to discuss items arising from the initial review of the first two (of five) volumes of WCAP-12945-P, which describes the W best estimate large break (LB) loss of coolant accident (LOCA) analysis methodology.
Review items were separated into the following question / response categories:
- 1) deleted, 2) deferred pending review of subsequently submitted documentation, and 3) items to be issued as questions for Westinghouse response.
Formal questions on Volumes 1 and 2 are expected to be issued by early June, 1993.
The status of the review was also discussed.
Volume 3 was provided at the meeting.
The submittals of Volume 4 and Volume 5 are planned for May,1993, and June, 1993, respectively. is a list of attendees.
Enclosures 2, 3, and 4 contain proprietary informatior and are withheld from non-proprietary versions of this meeting summary.
