282/92008 and 306/92008 Final Safety Analysis Report Commitment for Inservice Examination of High Energy Line Piping" This letter is written to clarify a commitment made in our responses to a deviation (References 1 and 2).
We had originally committed (Reference 1)-to make certain revisions to Appendix I of the Prairie Island Updated Safety Analysis Report during the next annual submittal.
Subsequently, in a supplemental response (Reference 2) we reiterated this commitment-and gave a date of June 30, 1993 for completion. This was the date when the next annual Updated Safety Analysis Report would be due.
However, because of the change of the Safety Analysis Report update regulation (10 CFR Part 50, Section 50.71(e)), the next required update is not June 30, 1993.
Our next Safety Analysis Report update will be submitted prior to September 30, 1993 and will include the referenced revision to Appendix I.
We discussed this with the Resident Inspector staff on June' 24, 1993.
