l MILESTONES-y As discussed.during our management meeting on June. 10, 1993,.. enclosed is the chart of milestones to _ develop. ABWR technical specifications;and their' bases.
This chart has:been reviewed by both the Nuclear Regulatory Commis'sion (NRC);
staff and GE Nuclear Energy (GE), San Jose, California, who' agree that the '
dates reflect:our. agreements.
Most of the milestones since the June-10 meeting have been satisfied;'however, l
we have not received the GE submittal on " Containment' Bypass." ~ The issue l-(0 pen Item 24) concerns whether wetwell spray control is manual.or automatic, p
and it-has the potential to-impact technical specifications as well -as.

inspections,- tests, analyses, and acceptance criteria. GE has re-committed to-make this submittal by July 9,1993.
