SUBJECT:
URANIUM REC 0VERY POLICY AND GUIDANCE DIRECTIVE SYSTEM The Policy hnd Guidance Directive System (PGDS), under development over the past year, has been completed. The Uranium Recovery Field Office (URFO) participated in its development and was very helpful in providing timely comments on the individual Directives.
A copy of the PGDS is enclosed.
We recognize that the subject of a particular Directive also may be covered in part by other Directives.
In most cases, the Directives do not include references to the other guidance available in the PGDS. The Subject Index LLWM-3 is of assistance in this matter.
As these Directives are reviewed for revision in the future, we will try to incorporate references to other appropriate guidance documents in the Directive.
Periodically, we will prepare new or revised guidance and will provide draft copies to your office ind URF0 for review, as we have done in preparation of the initial Directives.
By copy of this memorandum, I am sending ten (10) copies of the PGDS to URF0 for its use.
