Dear Mr. Selin:

Please deny the Louisiana Energy Services application to construct a uranium enrichment facility in Homer, Louisiana. This operation will produce a significant amount of uranium-238 waste.

There is no need for this plant. Existing DOE plants are only operating at 50 % of capacity now and there is a shrinking demand for enriched uranium.

The people in these communities do not want this dangerous operation in their back yards and should not have it shoved down their throats.
