SUBJECT:
Contract NRC-40-90-346, Task Order 3, Modification 1 "LSSA COMPLIANCE EVALUATION SAMPLING AND AUDIT PLANS" In accordance with the task order procedures of the subject contract, this letter definitizes Modification 1 to Task Order 3.
This effort shall be performed in accordance with the enclosed I
Statement of Work and the Contractor's technical proposal dated March 12, 1993.
Modification No. 1 to Task Order 3 shall be in effect from February 4, 1993 through December 15, 1993 with a cost ceiling of
$168,104.00.
This amount is inclusive of funds authorized for expenditure by verbal authorization provided to Labat-Anderson by Joanna Lilley, of my staff, on February 4, 1993.
The amount of
$156,740.00 represents the total estimated reimbursable costs and the amount of $11,364 represents the fixed fee.
The total Task Order 3 cost ceiling is increased by $168,104.00 from $137,254.00 to $305,358.00.
The total reimbursable cost is increased by $156,740.00 from $127,976.00 to $284,716.00.
The fixed fee is increased by $11,364.00 from $9,278.00 to
$20,642.00.
The obligated amount shall, at no time, exceed the task order ceiling.
When and if the amount (s) paid and payable to the Contractor hereunder shall equal the obligated amount, the Contractor shall not be obligated to continue performance of the work unless and until the Contracting Officer shall increase the amount obligated with respect to this task order.
Any work i
undertaken by the Contractor in excess of the obligated amount specified above is done so at the Contractor's sole risk.

Please indicate your acceptance of this Modification by having an official authorized to bind your organization, execute three copies of this document in the space provided and return two copies to the Contracting Officer.
You should retain the third copy for your records.
