Letter dated 9/28/92 from G. J. Beck (PECo) to NRC, TSCR 92-03, Changes to Accommodate a 24-Month' Fuel Cycle
Dear Sir:
Ihe referenced letter s Gmitted Philadelphia Electric Company's (PECo)
Technical Specification Change Request (TSCR) 92-03 in accordance with 10 CFR 50.90 requesting a change to Appendix A of the Peach Bottom Facility Operating Licenses. This letter submits a revision to that TSCR. This revision is necessary to correct an oversight in the original submittal, and has' been discussed with the NRC Project Manager for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station.
Enclosed is the revised Technical Specification (TS) page 188 for both units. The revised TS pages change the notes for TS Table 3.7.2 through 3.7.4.
The requested change is to replace the wording in Note 5 from: " Local leak tests on all testable isolation valves shall be performed each operating cycle but in no case at intervals greater than 2 years" to " Local leak tests on all testable isolation valves shall be performed per 10CFR50 Appendix J requirements." Note 6 will be changed from: " Local leak tests on all testable penetrations shall be-performed each operating cycle but in no case at intervals greater than 2 years" to " Local leak tests on all testable penetrations shall be performed per 10CFR50 Appendix J requirements."
This change is the same as the proposed change to TS page 169, which was identified as an administrative change and assessed for its safety significance

in the above referenced letter; therefore, this change may also be considered an administrative change.
Inclusion of this change does not affect the information supporting a finding of no significant h?zards consideration.
