ACTION:

Rulemaking Issues Paper: Extension of comment period.

SUMMARY

On December 11, 1992 (57 FR 58727), the NRC published a notice of the public workshops on the enhanced participatory i

rulemaking on establishing the radiological criteria for the decommissioning of NRC-licensed facilities. In that Notice the Commission solicited written public comments on a Ru3 emaking Issues Paper which served as the focus of workshop discussions.

The comment period on the Rulemaking Issues Paper was to have expired on May 28, 1993.

The Commission has received several requests for an extension of the comment period.

After considering the requests, the Commission has decided to extend the comment period on the Rulemaking Issues Paper for an additional thirty days.

The comment period now expires on June 28, 1993.
