a STATEMENT OF WORK 1
FOR TASK ORDER NO. 3 UNDER CONTRACT NO. NRC-38-92-281 The NRC Writing Program The NRC requires the design and development of an NRC specific writing training program as part of the NRC Writing Curriculum. The objective of this training is to help NRC employees write clear, concise, and stylistically consistent documents.

Three days, possibly fou: days The NRC's Office of Personnel (0P) will provide guidance on the training requirements and will review and approve each segment of the training s
program as it is completed.
TASKS TO BE PERFORMED UNDER THE NRC WRITING CURRICULUM The Contractor, CAE-Link, shall provide the necessary qualified personnel to perform the following tasks:
1.
Meet with representatives from the Office of Personnel to discuss the design and development of an NRC writing course and discuss the NRC furnished course materials that are provided as attachments to this Statement of Work. As a minimum, the Contractor shall use Attachment 1, draft course outline and Attachment 2, suggested course text to develop learning objectives, training content, and training media to be used for the writing program. The meeting shall take place in Bethesda, Maryland - Woodmont Building one (1) week after acceptance of the task order.

Upon meeting with NRC and reviewing the training materials, prepare three (3) copies of draft blueprints for the course, organized and sequenced by the learning objectives including the training content and design recommendations (training media) appropriate for each objective.
Deliver draft materials to the designated HRC OP personnel no later than two (2) weeks after the initial meeting.

- The NRC will review the blueprints and meet with the contractor to discuss changes to the blueprints within three (3) weeks from receiving draft blueprints.
The contractor shall finalize and deliver three (3) copies of the revised blueprints to the designated NRC OP personnel no later than one (1) week after the review meeting with NRC.

Prepare three (3) copies of draft prototypes of instructor guides, instructor presentation graphics, course workbook containing class exercises, student presentation reference materials, and student self-administered examinations. The contractor shall deliver these draft materials to the designated NRC OP personnel no later than four (4) weeks after finalizing the course outline and objectives.
The NRC will review these materials and meet with the contractor to discuss changes to the materials. The contractor shall finalize the prototypes in preparation for pilot testing and deliver the final course materials to the designated NRC OP personnel no later than one (1) week after the review meeting with NRC.
4.
Attend pilot session of the course. (Approximately four (4) weeks after NRC receives final course materials.
The exact date will be determined by NRC.)
5.
Meet with NRC to discuss feedback from the pilot session within two days from pilot session and make appropriate meh fications to the training materials based on NRC's requests.
6.
Deliver the finalized originals of all products no later than two (2) weeks after the pilot review meeting with NRC.
DELIVERABLES CAE-Link shall draft, modify as necessary, and finalize training design plans and materials.
Because NRC plans to periodically update these materials after this project is complete, the products shall be produced in the most recent version of Wordperfect, currently Wordperfect 5.1.
Hardcopy deliverables are all that will be required until the project is complete. Upon completion of the project, a copy of all materials shall be-provided in hardcopy and on 3.5 inch disks.
