SUBJECT:
NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-382/93-12
This refers to the inspection conducted by a team of NRC personnel during the
period May 3-7, 1993. The inspection included a review of activities
authorized for your Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3, facility. At
the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with you and
those members of your staff identified in the enclosed report.
Areas examined during the inspection included the corrective action, self-
assessment, audit, and operational experience programs. Within these areas,
the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and
'
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations of
activities in progress. The results of this inspection are documented in the
I
enclosed report.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of
this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Dc: ament Room.

to discuss them with you.
