This confirms our plans as discussed between Mr. G. J. Maxfield of your st'aff and Mr. K. J. Jury of this office to have a meeting with you and members of your staff at the Point Beach Nuclear Plant in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, on June 17, 1993, at 1:0J p.m. (CDT). The purpose of the meeting is to present the Initial SALP 10 Report for Point Beach Nuclear Plant.
We encourage you to have appropriate corporate and plant. management representation at the meeting to ensure a mutual understanding of the issues and findings being presented by the NRC.
While this meeting is considered a presentation and discussion forum between Wisconsin Electric Power Company and the NRC, the meeting will be opened to any other interested parties as observers. Those persons outside the licensee and NRC staffs should inform the Regional Office of their intent to participate.
We hope this meeting will benefit your organization and provide you with a meaningful characterization of the overall safety performance for the Point Beach Nuclear plant.
