Dear Ms. Podolak:
This refers to your application dated February 17, 1993, requesting renewal of Certificate of Compliance No. 9167 for the Model Nos. 3206B, 3227B and 3218 shipping packages.
Since an application was submitted at least 30 days prior to the expiration of the Certificate of Compliance, the Certificate of Compliance will not be deemed to have expired until the application has finally been determined.
In connection with our review, we need the information identified in the enclosure to this letter.
Please advise us within 30 days from the date of this letter when this information will be provided. Additional information requested by this letter should be submitted in the form of revised pages.

i Operatina Procedures. Acceptance Tests and Maintenance Proaram 1.
Revise the application to provide loading procedures which are presented sequentially in the order in which the operations are performed.
The procedures should include items such as inspections prior to loading, cautionary notes on package handling, limits on package contents, locking the package, affixing labels, and making a radiation survey.
2.
Revise the procedures for shipping an empty package to include a procedure for assuring that the package is empty before shipment.
3.
Revise the operating procedures to update all references to 49 CFR, l
