Personnel Changes at the Manhattan College Zero Power Reactor (MCZPR)

Dear Ted:

Confirming our recent conversation, I will be resigning as Reactor Administrator and Radi- .

ation Safety Officer at the MCZPR effective June 15,1993. After 10 years in the position, I feel it is time for this change to occur.

Dr. William Duggan, who is curnmtly Chief Reactor Supervisor and a licensed SRO at the MCZPR will become Reactor Administrator and Radiation Safety Officer. Dr. Duggan's qualifi- 3 cations for this position are excellent. He has a doctorate in nuclear engineering and, as Chief 1 Reactor Supervisor for the last 3 years,is completely familiar with the Reactor. He has taught undergraduate and graduate nuclear engineering and health physics courses. Bill also brings sig-nificant relevant nuclear administrative and consulting experience to the position. He can be reached at 718-920 'n 12.

l Mrs. Catherine Stanton, who currently teaches both undergraduate and graduate health l physics and graduate nuclear courses in our engineering program, will assume the position of Chief Reactor Supervisor. Mrs. Stanton has a masters degree in nuclear engineering,is familiar with the MCZPR, and has extensive industrial and consulting experience in nuclear reactor tech-nology, waste management, and associated fields. She is an officer of the local chapter of the j American Nuclear Society.

I have enjoyed working with you and knew that you will find both continuity and a coop-erative working relationship with the new Administration of the MCZPR.

Sincerely,

'A 7 Q ~
