SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-445/93-18; 50-446/93-18
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. il. B. Jones, G. E. Werner, and
R. V. Azua, of this office, on March 21 through April 27, 1993.
The
inspection included a review of activities authorized for the Comanche Peak
Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2, facility. At the conclusion of the
inspection, the findings were discussed with Mr. C. L. Terry and those members
of your staff identified in the enclosed report.

Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within
these areas the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures
and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of
activities in progress. The purpose of the inspection was to determine
whether activities authorized by the license were conducted safely and in
accordance with NRC requirements. The results of this inspection are
'
documented on pages 1-3 in the enclosed report.

in accordence with 10 CFR Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a
copy of this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC's Public
Document Room.
