Enclosed is an application for an export license (XSNM02750), recently received by the Nuclear Regulatory Comission, for the export of low-enriched uranium for use as reload fuel for Genkai Unit No. 3, Region 4 in Japan.

Assurances from the Government of Japan are required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation.

Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated.

Please note that the material is of Australian origin.
