Dear Mr. Selin,

This letter is in regards to a

proposed uranium enrichment plant near Forest Grove and Center

Springs, Louisiana.

1 sincerely urge you to advise the NRC licensing board to deny Louisiana Energy Services' application to construct this facility in Homer, Louisiana.

I also wish to remind you that the local communities of Forest Grove and Center Springs are adamantly opposed to having the plant located in their backyard.

This proposed facility, if built, would have both negative Social impacts and riegative environmental impacts on the area.

I also am encouraging you to take a very clcse look at the issue of environmental racism and the role that it might have olayed in deciding to site the plant so near to Forest Grove and Center

Springs, two low-income, predominantly black communities.
