casks are righticircular cylinders with a 77.25-inch ID by 80.25-inch IH

plates with' thickness of 2.0 inches. The, primary, cask lid is secured to the if

secondary lid is centered in the primary lid,and-is secured to the primary

Prior to each shipment, the packaging Neoprene lid seals if opened (or-if l
a security seal is broken), must be inspected. The seals'must be replaced with H
new seals if inspection shows any defects or every twelve (12) months, which i

9176, for the Model Nos. LN 14-195L and 14-195H packages. Also, by application I
dated April 29, 1993, Chem-Nuclear Systems, Inc., requested renewal of l
Certificate of Compliance No. 9176, for the Model No. CNSI 14-215H Series A packages. PNSI, Chem-Nuclear or SEG did not make or request any changes to the package design.
l PNSI, the certificate holder, requested that the certificate be revised to -
incorporate their company name and address. The certificate has been revised accordingly.
The staff has reviewed previous submittals, including the operating procedures, i
acceptance tests and maintenance programs, and have found them to be complete and I
adequate.
