i Dear sirs It has come to my attention that Louisiana Energy Services has submitted an application for construction of a uranium en-richment plant near the communities of Forest Grove and Center Springs.

I would like to disuade you from granting this permit.

Many factors argue against the advisability of constructing this plants the greatest of these is that the people living there don' t want it.

This is an economically depressed black com-munity to site a plant there is a flacrantly racist choice, es-pecially in view of the facts that enriched uranium is no longer in demand by the industry, and that the everlasting contamination this plant will create far outweighs in de. mage any questionable profit it might bring.

I request that you deny Louisiana Snergy Service's permit, and do whatever is in your power to prevent environmental racism in the futurek Thank you for your time and attention.
