Dear Mr. Selin:

I am writing to protest the proposed construction of the enrichment facility to convert natural uranium into nuclear power fuel, proposed to be built near Homer,-Louisiana.

This whole process is obsolete due to the reduction in nuclear. arms worldwide and the phase out of nuclear power plants.

There is no excuse for creating 4000 tons of uranium 238 waste annually.

When you add in the factor of placing this is an economically and socially disadvantaged area, you have environmental degradation and environmental racism combined.

I Irge you to make the ethical choice and DENY the applica: ion for construction of this social and environmental outrage.
