Dear Chairman Selin,

As a concerned citizen I urge you to advise the NRC licensing board to deny LES' application to construct a uranium enrichment facility in Homes, Louisiana. The local communities of Forest Grove & Center Springs are both adamantly opposed to having the LES plantlocated in their backyard. This plan is yet another glaring example of environmental racism... powerful business interests taking advantage of poor local people il1+ quipped to combat powerful foes. This project will obviously have a negative social and environmental impact on the local community. You should take a much closer look at this issue of environmental racism and the role it might have played in deciding to site the plant so near to two small blact communities.
