l I am writing to urge you to deny Lhe Louisiana Energy Services' i
application to construct a uranium enrichment facility in Homer, Louisiana.
Given the opposition of the communities of Forest Grove and Center Springs, and the negative social and environmental impacts l
the proposed plant will have on the area, I urgently request thatthis l
application not be approved.
t I would also encourage you to investigate the issue of environmental racism, and what role this may have played in LES's l
decision to locate their plant so near to the two small black communities of Forest Grove and Center Springs.
