I've lived in Covert, Michigan my entire life.
I had a wonderful child-hood and many friends.
But when we'd all gather at my parents house to play, we would stare into the sky and gaze at the huge cloud-like steam rising from Palisades (Consumers Power Company).
I remember seeing films on television about radioactive contamination, and wondering if somehow - through our air and water - we were being contaminated......
Now that I'm wi adult raining an 18 ruanth old son, my husband and ! still wonder about impending contamination.
I want my son raised healthy and happy.
I don't want to wonder if the air he breathes and the water he drinks is pure enough to sustain a healthy life....
I also have a concern about the fact that you would like nuclear waste from outside communities / states, stored in an area where the majority of residents are African-American. Maybe this is a " Sugar-Coated" means of genocide?

PDR My entire life. I've seen 4 of my friends / relatives who have lived within a 5 mile radius of Palisades, die of liver / pancreatic cancer.
Is this a coincidence? If my financial means were greater, I would consider uproot-ing my family to a new location!
