Dear Ivan Selin:
I am writing to urge you to advise the NRC licensing board to DENY LES's application to construct a uranium enrichment facility in Homer, Louisiana.
I wish to remind you that the local communities of Forest Grove and Center Springs are adamantly opposed to having the LES plant located in i
their backyard.
I call your attention to the negative social and environmental impacts that the plant will have on the area.
I urge you to take a close look at the issue of environmental racism and the role it might have played in making the decision to site the plant so near to the two small Black communities.
