r This individual is requesting consideration to be allowed to pay at the old rate because the final two days for payment fell over the weekend. Therefore, she feels we should allow for a payment at the old rate on Monday, March 15.
We have checked with legal counsel and they indicate that we are not under any obligation to accept anything less than the full $2.65 effective Monday, March 15, in that if the last day of the old rate falls on a weekend, we are not required to accept payment at that rate on the following Monday.
