I wish to express the opposition of Tucson Audubon Society to the application to the NRC by Lousiana Energy Services to construct a uranium enrichment plant in rural Louisiana. As you know, the proposed project is hardly justified in terms of worldwide demand for enriched uranium and poses potential threats to nearby communities.

l Those communities, by the way, happen to be Afro-American.
