LES Uranium Enrichment Facility
Dear Mr. Selin:
Please deny the Louisiana Energy Services (LES) permission to construct a uranium enrichment facility in Homer, Louisiana.
The local communities of Forest Grove and Center Springs are adamantly opposed to having the LES plant in their backyard. The plant would have negative social and environmental impacts on the area. In addition, the decision to place the plant close to two small black communities appears to be an issue of environmental racism.
