Dear Chairman Selin,
I am writing to urge you to disallow Louisiana Energy Services' application to construct a uranium enrichment plant in Homer, Louisiana near the local, small, black communities of Forest Grove and Center Springs.
The inhabitants of this area vehemently oppose making their towns the site of a nuclear waste dump and believe it to be a form of racism.
The two groups, Citizens Against Nuclear Trash and the Southern Christian Leader-ship Conference, also reject the idea of making these poor, black towns into sewers of radio-active waste.
Please consider the inherently negative effects on the society and the environment of Homer's surrounding locale and stop the construction of this dan-gerous plant.
