Dear Mr. Paquin:

This refers to Certificate of Compliance Number 9249 for the Model Number CNS I4-170, Series III packaging which has an expiration date of July 31, 1993.

In order to renew the certificate, we need a consolidated application. The consolidated application should be complete in itself and should include drawings of the package design and information which shows that the package design meets all the requirements of 10 CFR Part 71. The application should be in the format of Regulatory Guide 7.9.

The application should also include operating and maintenance procedures, and fabrication and acceptance tests.

To ensure continued use of this package, you should submit an application for renewal of the certificate at least 30 days prior to the expiration date.

This notice of expiration should not be construed that such notice will be provided in the future. Also, please let us know if you do not intend to request renewal of the certificate.
