The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 23 to Amended Facility License No. R-103 for the University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR). The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your submittal dated April 11, 1993.

i The amendment adds to the technical specifications the requirement to have l
written procedures for the shipping of byproduct material pr;duced under the reactor license.
A copy of the related Safety Evaluation supporting Amendment No. 23 is l
