Dear Mr. Chairman:
This lawsuit seeks to reinstate petitioners' adjudicatory challenge to the extension of Texas Utilities Electric Company's construction permit for Comanche Peak, Unit 2.
On March 30 the Commission dismissed pe,titioners' claims on mootness grounds.
On April 6 the Commission declined to stay or reconsider its decision.
On the same day the Commission also granted TUEC a full power operating license for Comanche Peak, Unit 2.
Petitioners have filed motions seeking summary reversal of the Commission's adjudicatory decisions and seeking a stay of the operating license.
We are preparing a ro:ponse.
We will keep you informed of any significant developments in this case.
