ASLBP No. 93-671-01-OLA-3 REOUEST FOR EXTENSION OF TIMP On April 30, 1993 counsel to licens.a+
argia Power Company filed a request for documents and interrogatory questions on counsel to petitioner Allen L.
Mosbaugh.
The document request and interrogatories were received on May 3, 1993.'
Counsel to Mr. Mosbaugh respectfully requests an enlargement of time, up to and including June 25, 1993, to file responses to both the document request and interrogatory questions.
Mr. Mosbaugh has good cause for this enlargement of time.
First, Mr. Mosbaugh will greatly rely upon documents as supplements to interrogatory responses and, as such, simultaneous submission of documents and interrogatory questions would be more expedient.
Weekend delivery was not requested and, as such, the 1
documents were not delivered until May 3, 1993.

I Second, Mr. Mosbaugh's counsel has been conducting
]
depositions in an unrelated matter currently pending before the
{
i Untied States Department of Labor pursuant to Section 211 and is j
a currently preparing five separate claims under the Energy Reorganization Act for trial.
Conflicts caused by this pre-i existing litigation schedule require an enlargement of time to l
properly respond to GPC's extensive discovery requests.
Third, the number of interrogatory questions (forty-three separate questions with 56 subparts) places a large burden on Mr.
r a
f; Mosbaugh's counsel.
}
Forth, given the nature of GPC's discovery, a number of out-
-p of-state witnesses must be interviewed and numerous documents -
existing in three states must be reviewed.
I 1
I WHEREFORE, Mr. Mosbaugh's counsel respectfully requests i
until June 25, 1993 to file responses to interrogatory questions i
and document requests received on May 3, 1993 from Georgia Power
[i Company.
I Respec,tfully submitted, i
