QUARTER FY-93 UPDATE Enclosed is the Second Quarter FY-93 update of the Generic Issue Management Control System (GIMCS) for your information. This report reflects the following major activities that occurred during the reporting period.

One generic safety issue (GSI) was resolved:

Neutron Fluence in Reactor Vessel Twenty-four GSIs remain to be resolved including six that are scheduled for resolution in the Third Quarter of FY-93. Of the 8 issues that remain to be prioritized, 4 are scheduled for completion during the Third Quarter of FY-
- 93. I will continue to keep you informed of progress in resolving these issues as well as any major problems that might surface during the course of their resolution.
