Pursuant to 10CFR 50.71(e) and as committed in our letter to the NRC dated May 8, 1985 (AECM-85/0164), Entergy Operations, Inc. is submitting revised pages of the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Fire Hazards Analysis (Specification GGNS M-500.0),
Revision 7.
Instruction for filing Revision 7 are provided in the package.
I Changes incorporated into Revision 7 of the FHA result from the following implemented design changes:
Installation of a permanent Snubber Test Facility on Elevation 185'O of the Auxiliary Building.
Installation of three new guard towers, incorporating a ibnited amount of in situ combustibles, and Installation of a Control Rod Drive (CRD)
Maintenance Facility on Elevation 166' of the i

tielected former Unit 2 rooms to accommodate Unit 1 occupancy.

These changes to the FHA have been evaluated and approved by a qualified fire protection engineer.
These evaluations concluded that the changes reflected do not adversely affect the ability to achieve and maintain safe shutdown in the event of a fire, as required by License Condition 2.C.(41).

5 May 7, 1993 GNRO-93/00057 Page 2 of 3 In accordance with our Licensing Commitment and the revision to 10 CFR 50.71 (FR 39356), future updates to the FHA will be submitted on a refueling outage frequency.
The FHA will be submitted no later than 6 months after each outage, with the interval between successive submittals not exceeding 24 months.
As required by 10CFR50.71(e), I hereby certify to the best of my knowledge, information, and belief, that the information provided therein accurately represents changes made since the previous submittal of the Fire Hazards Analysis through December 31, 1992.
