Dear Chet:
Confirmatory Item 6.1.1-1 directs GE to commit to follow EPRI NP-3589-SR-LD, "BWR Water Chemistry Guidelines," April 1985. This document was the original draft of the hydrogen water chemistry guidelines is;ued to a limited distribution (LD) in 1985. After resolving comments, the water chemistry riidelines were issued as EPRI NP-4947-SR, "BWR Water Chemistry Guidelines: 198'1 Revision," October 1988 and GE has committed to follow them. Thus, EPRI NP-3589-SR-LD is no longer appropriate and confirmatory item is considered closed.
