submitted relief request VR-24 to the Wolf Creek Inservice Testing (IST)

program. The relief request relates to the adoption of ASME/ ANSI OMa-1988, Part 10.

In rulemaking that was effective September 8, 1992 (57 FR 34666), the 1989 Edition of ASME Section XI was incorporated i,nto 10 CFR 50.55a(b).
Accordingly, the staff has determined that your adoption of OMa-1988, Part 10 is covered by that rulemaking and is approved pursuant to 10 CFR 50.55a (f)(4)(iv). Your continued use of existing requirements of the 1980 Edition through Winter 1981 addenda of Section XI for pressure relief device testing in lieu of the reference to Part I contained in Part 10 has been determined to I
be acceptable. The details of our evaluation are contained in the enclosed Safety Evaluation.
