In Reference I above, ABB Atom requested that certain Westinghouse Topical Reports that had been reviewed by the NRC and accepted for application in licensing actions, be also designated as approved ABB Atom Topical Reports, under the ABB Atom QA program, (Reference II).
The request also extended to certain Westinghouse topical reports then under review.
In Reference III, Westinghouse requested that review of certain of their topical reports that relate to BWR fuel licensing be ceased and that Westinghouse granted ABB the right to use the information contained in referenced topical reports.
We have completed our review of this matter. We have concluded that the topical reports related to the licensing of ABB Atom BWR fuel, as listed in Table 1.0, are acceptable. For a cross reference between Westinghouse and ABB tt.pical reports, see the data summary table in Attachment 1.
The designated ABB Atom reports, as delineated in Table 1.0, are approved for use in licensing actions, including application of these reports in actions relating to the licensing of ABB Atom reload fuel for BWRs.
